North Carolina Mountain Mushroom Cooperative

Mushroom Fruiting House is now operational!!!

This is a service offered to local mushroom growers whereby you can bring your logs at a scheduled time, leave them and they will be soaked, fruited and sold by the cooperative. You will be paid by the cooperative and a surcharge will be added to the final price to pay for this support. After the fruiting season, you will come and get your logs to take home. Take advantage of higher winter prices.

NCMMC is a newly formed cooperative that intends to help all the local growers of Western North Carolina.

We have been working hard to create stable markets in our locale by providing reliable weekly deliveries to numerous grocery stores and restaurants on behalf of our members.

In addition to selling fresh mushrooms and mushroom products, we also offer an array of services including free and low cost spawn, tools, workshops, wax, log sourcing, and professional advice.

NCMMC receives funding from NCA&T, NCSU, SARE, Madison Family Farms, & the Golden Leaf Foundation.

If you are interested in becoming a member the process is very simple, just download the membership form and mail it in with $10. We will call you when we receive your application.
