Beautiful, Local, Organic Mushrooms

 

We are North Carolina Mountain Mushroom Cooperative. Our cooperative is based in Madison County and represents many local mushroom farmers. Our main mushroom crop, Shiitake, is organically grown outdoors on hardwood logs. This gives the mushrooms a beautiful color, a unique texture and a wonderful taste. Outdoor, log-grown Shiitake also has higher levels of Vitamin D and Lentinan.

 

We grow hundreds of pounds of mushrooms weekly, from April-October. We sell in increments of 5 pounds and our discounts begin at 10 pounds with our largest discounts at 50 pounds. NCMMC offers weekly service, delivered to your door on Thursday afternoon in a new commercial grade wax-cardboard box. We offer 3 grades of mushrooms to choose from to best fit your client’s needs as well as your budget. Whether you are a restaurant, grocery store or an individual, we can supply you the best mushrooms in Western North Carolina for your dollar.
